Roger proposed to me! On august 14th we went on a date to the Olive Garden (my favorite restaurant). I knew that he was going to propose, I had gone ring shopping with him. After dinner, we went to Milcreek Canyon to go on a hike. I love hiking! Before we started our hike, Roger acted like he was digging in his pockets for something, then he looked at me and told me that he had been planning on proposing to me tonight, but he forgot the ring. I thought he was probably teasing, but I wasn't sure. We were having so much fun on our hike. We were laughing so much, I can't remember what we were laughing about, but it was funny whatever it was. I suggested that we have a race. He said okay. So, we started racing up the mountain. We stopped to catch our breath and look at the scenery. It was so beautiful. I was having a lot of fun with our race, so I was about to take off running again, when Roger grabbed my hand, got down on one knee, and proposed to me. I was so happy! Of course, I said, "Yes!"
