Happy Halloween! - October 30, 2010

Saturday - October 30th
Since Halloween falls on Sunday this year, we celebrated on Saturday.  The kids were so excited all day.  They couldn't wait for the trunk-or-treat and trick-or-treating.

Alissa wanted to be a bunny.  Her and Erin planned to be the same thing this year.  Parker wanted to be a ninja and we were surprised to find out that Erin's brother, Ben decided to be a ninja also.  Brinley always wants to be a princess or a fairy princes.  This year she decided to just be a princess with out the fairy.
 Two little bunny friends
Brinley wore her princess costume to the tunk-or-treat, then decided to be a fairy princess when we went trick-or-treating.  We had a lot of fun trick-or-treating.  The kids got a lot of candy.  Yea! Candy, candy, candy!

Brinley's Pumpkin - October 28, 2010

Thursday - October 28th
Brinley carved her pumpkin today since she slept through it last night.  She told me how she wanted it carved.  I had some pictures and ideas for her to look at.  This is what she wanted.  I think it's cute.  I like the ears.  I'm glad she let me do the ears like that.

Carving Pumpkins - October 27, 2010

Wednesday - October 27th
It was crazy sock day at school.  Here are my two little goofy kids in their silly socks.
I babysat Marci, Conner, Raelynn, and Sayge today.  These are the pictures I took of Marci and Conner while they were playing.  I couldn't get Marci to smile for me.  She would smile when the camera wasn't pointed at her, but once the camera was pointed in her direction, the smile went away.
This is Raelynn.  She is such a cute baby girl.  She is a lot of fun to take care of.

Brinley and Syge are in these pictures.  Sayge is the same age as Brinley, but it seems like they don't have a lot in common.  They play together sometimes.  It's pretty much, when they can't find anything else to do, they play together as a last resort to keep from being too bored.
Parker got a dollar from the tooth fairy and this is what he chose to do with it.  He taped it to the wall.  I have no idea where he came up with the idea or what is reasons are for keeping it taped on the wall.  I think it's funny.  He is a goofy kid.  Brinley and Sayge wanted to pose for a picture with Parker's dollar, so here they are.
Parker took some cute selfies of himself.  He really is a funny boy.  He makes me laugh a lot.  I love it!

We carved our pumpkins tonight.  Brinley was excited at first.  She wanted me to clean out her pumpkin for her.  While I cleaned out her's and helped clean out Alissa and Parker's, Brinley went to sit in the living room and wait.  She ended up falling asleep on the couch, so she didn't get to carve her pumpkin tonight.  I'll set it aside and let her carve it tomorrow.
Parker and Alissa did a good job.  They thought it was fun.

We took them outside and put candles in them so the kids could see how cool they look.  We didn't leave them lit for very long.  We mostly just wanted to take pictures of how cool they looked.  Then we blew out the candles and went to bed.

After the kids went to bed, I messed around on Jib Jabs again.  I think Jib Jabs is so fun.  I love seeing how funny we look when I add our faces to the pictures.  This time I used pictures of their cousins, friends, and some of the kids I babysit.  The kids always love to see what I did.  They think it is funny also.

Parker lost a tooth and It's Snowing! - October 26, 2010

Tuesday - October 26th
Parker lost his first tooth!  He said that it wasn't scary and it only hurt a little.  He was so excited to lose his first tooth and get money from the tooth fairy.

I love snow!  I love the way everything looks covered in snow!  I love to go out and play in the snow!  I just can't get enough of it.  So, I always go out and take a picture of the first snowfall each year.  The kids get just as excited about it as I do.  We were so excited, the kids wanted to go outside, catch snow on their tongues and be in my first snow of the year picture.
Roger didn't want to come outside with us.  He was too comfy on the couch.

I went and had my ultra sound that Dr. Ferguson had ordered.  He called me back and told me that I have a fibroid in my uterus.  That's why I've been in a lot of pain and that's why I keep having pregnancy like symptoms.  The fibroid grows and gets bigger around my bad time of the month, so it is more painful.  The only thing to do for it is to operate.  He wanted me to schedule a surgery with him.  I asked him if since he'd all ready have me open for an operation, can he do a tubal reversal for me.  He said he has never done that before, so he recommended that I find a doctor who knows how to do that surgery.
I know I should be sad about having to have a surgery, but I'm not.  I'm extremely happy and excited about the possibility of getting a tubal ligation reversal.  Having my tubes tied was the worst thing I have ever done.  I still have a hard time not feeling angry about it.  It was unfair of the doctor to encourage it and ask me if I wanted to have it done when I was in my 3rd trimester.  I've always wanted a big family, but every time I was in my 3rd trimester, I said, "I never want to do this again."  Even with my first child.  It's just scary and your hormones are all crazy and you aren't thinking clearly then.  As soon as my babies were 2 months old, I was ready to have another child.  I just wish that situation never happened and I could still have babies.
I'm really excited at the possibility of having it reversed.  I really hope that I can find a doctor who is willing to do both.  I'm also glad to have a little time to try and lose some weight before having a surgery.  I really hope everything will go well.

My Birthday - October 21, 2010

Thursday - Oct 21st
This is my first birthday without my mom.  I miss her so much!  Last year, I spent my birthday in the hospital with my mom and dad.  My mom had a surgery to try and figure out why she wasn't recovering from the last surgery she had.  My dad and I sat in the waiting room for a very long time that day.  They had come out and told us they hadn't figured out why she wasn't recovering, but they cleaned things out and were stitching her up.  I was praying so hard all day that they'd be able to find the problem.  About an hour later, they came back out and explained that when they were closing her up, they noticed a tiny hole in her stomach that hadn't been sewn up right in during the previous surgery.  That explained why she was struggling to get batter.  They closed up that hole and sewed her back up, so she'd finally be able to get better.  It was a long day.  I was so worried about my mom, I barely had anytime to think about my birthday.  I think I ended up celebrating a late birthday that year.  All the memories of last year, and the weird pains I have been having, are making it really hard to feel happy this year.  When I talked to my sister Missy, I complained to her about the way I was feeling.  She talked to my cousin Cassie gull after she got off the phone with me.  I guess they talked about the things I complained to Missy about.  Cassie felt bad and wanted to make my day better, so she ordered some flowers and had them delivered to me.  That was so sweet and really made my day.

Not Enough Sleep - October 18, 2010

Monday - October 18th
Brinley woke up at 3:00am and couldn't get back to sleep.  She yelled for me and I went in her room and turned on a 30 minute show for her.  That didn't help her fall back asleep, so as soon as it ended, she yelled for me again.  She did that 2 more times after that.  I would climb into bed and just fall back asleep or be almost asleep when she would start yelling for me again.  Every time she woke me up, Alissa would get woken up also.  Parker slept through all of it.  So, the girls and I were really tired in the morning.  I got Parker up and sent him to school on time, but I decided to let Alissa sleep in and go to school late.  She was only about 40 minutes late, but I think the
extra sleep helped.
At 7:50am, Sayge showed up.  Her mom hadn't officially let me know what time she'd be coming.  So, that was a surprise.  I babysat Sayge until 3:40pm.  Brinley and Sayge don't get along as well as I'd like, so Sayge gets bored a lot during the day.  When she gets bored, she follows me around saying, "I'm hungry.", "What can I do?", and "I wish Alissa was here."  And Brinley keeps asking, "When is Mikenna going to come?"  So, that is how the first part of my day went.
I had my doctors appointment at 5:00pm today.  I saw Dr. Ferguson.  He seems like a really good doctor.  I'm glad that he listened to my concerns and was willing to test everything to make sure we know what is going on.  He thinks I might have a bacteria in my uterus.  So, he gave me some medicine to take to get rid of it.  He ordered some more test and he scheduled an ultra sound so he can make sure that he made the right diagnosis.  I'll get in to have those test done, then I will go back and see him in a month if things haven't gotten better.

Brinley's 5th Birthday - October 15, 2010

Friday - October 15th
Happy Birthday Brinley!  My cute littlest child is 5 years old today.  I can't believe how fast time goes.  It does not feel like it has been 5 years since she was born.
I stayed up until 2:00 in the morning decorating the house for Brinley's birthday.  I wait until the kids are asleep, then I decorate the house with streamers and lots and lots of balloons.  The kids are always so excited when they wake up and there are balloons everywhere.  I did something different this time.  I decorated the upstairs and the downstairs living rooms.  I usually only decorate the living room on the main floor.  The kids were so excited when they went downstairs and it was also decorated.  It was really fun to watch them.
I feel really bad that Roger couldn't be awake to see the kids when they saw all the decorations.  I really hope he gets on a day shift soon.  We got Brinley a bike for her birthday.  She was so excited when she saw it, but she was afraid to get on it at first.  Alissa and Parker finally convinced her to try it and she loves it.  Grandma Moser came for Brinley's Birthday party.  It was fun to have her here.  Mikenna and her mom (Heather) came also.
Let's see.... Our day went like this.... We woke up, saw all the cool decorations, went to the store to buy some treats and breakfast, came home, then Raelynn came over to be babysat.  The kids helped me take care of her so I could decorate Brin's cake.  Roger woke up at 2:00pm.  We gave Brinley her bike.  Roger's mom arrived.  We let Brinley open her presents.  Mikenna and Heather came.  We had cake and ice cream.  Heather and Mikenna left.  Roger's mom left.  The kids played with all the toys and rode their bikes.  I took pictures and videos of all the fun.  I rested for a little while with Roger while the kids played.  Brin wanted cake for dinner so that's what we had.  Brin wanted to sleep in the living room, so I carried their mattresses down.  The kids laid in their beds and watched TV until they fell asleep.  I stayed up to clean and put away all the birthday fun.
