Sleeping Brinley - June 28, 2011

Tuesday - June 28th
We had too much fun playing today.  It tired Brinley out.  She fell asleep on the chair outside.  I think my children are too cute!

Pink Hair - June 27, 2011

Monday - June 27th
After Halloween last year, I went to Walmart and noticed that everything was 90% off.  There was very little of any Halloween stuff left.  But I noticed a bunch of pink, White, and Glitter hair color sitting on the shelf.  It was only $.10 a can.  I didn't know what I would do with them, but I couldn't pass up such a good deal.  So, I bought the rest of the hair color spray.  We were bored today and the kids found the hair color spray, so we decided to try it out.

Parker's scooter is broken.  So, he set it up on some bricks in the front and put a chair on top to make it into something he could pretend to ride.

Alissa's Sunburn - June 26, 2011

Sunday - June 26th
I always feel so guilty when my little ones get sunburns.  Alissa got burned pretty bad from our swimming last week.  It is peeling like crazy today.  I just thought it looked a little crazy and kind of cool.  So, I had to take a picture.  Enjoy!

A Moser Family Reunion - June 25, 2011

Saturday - June 25th
We went to Logan to go to a Family Reunion with Roger's family.
There were some people (not from the reunion) at the park playing basketball.  Roger couldn't resist and asked to join their game.  I love watching Roger play sports.  He is good at everything he does.  I love my Roger too much.

Playing at the School Playground - June 24, 2011

They are taking the tires out.  I don't know if they plan to replace them with something else.  I hope they are.  Anyway, they pulled all of the tires out of the ground and stacked them up on top of each other.  It is really fun to play on.  The kids love it.  They think the tires are much more fun this way.

Janae and Regan Came to Play - June 23, 2011

Regan's birthday is on June 11th and Janae's birthday is tomorrow.  We started a tradition a couple of years ago where Regan and Janae come and spend a day playing for their birthdays.  I make cake and we all bring food to share.  This time, I have better pools to set up in the backyard.  So, we set up the pools, ate some lunch and visited while the kids played.  I love that we do this.  It is so fun to get together with them.  I'm so glad that we all still keep in touch.

A Day of Swimming Fun - June 21, 2011

I love summer time!  Today, we set up the pools in the front yard.  I love to sit in a comfy camping chair in the driveway and read while the kids play in the pools with their friends.  Today we had Josie, Simon, and Skylee come over and play.  It was a fun day,

Father's Day - June 19, 2011

We had a nice Father's Day.  The kids had fun making cards and gifts for Roger.  They also practiced a primary song to sing for him.  When we gave him his gifts, Molly kept trying to jump on him.  She is a funny dog.  The kids gave Roger his presents then they sang their song for him.  they sang the primary song that goes, "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home.  Glad as I can be.  Clap my hands and shout for joy and climb up on his knee."  Their favorite part of the song is at the end when they sing "a great big kiss", then they get to make loud kissy sounds.  I'm pretty sure that's why they chose this song.  It was cute.  I took video, but didn't take any pictures.  I'll post videos when I can.

Father's Day Contest - June 18, 2011

I entered my dad in a Father's Day contest through KSL.  I hadn't really read much about the contest, so, I didn't know what the prize was.  I entered my dad and Roger in a bunch of different contests.  I ended up winning the KSL contest.  They called and told me that my dad won a spot in their big musical chairs contest at Cherry Hill.  I hadn't realized that that was what the prize would be.  In the musical chair contest, each player would receive some kind of prize.  I was a little worried about what my dad would say when I told him he won, but the prize is to go and play musical chairs in front of a bunch of people.  When I called him to tell him the news, he was okay with it,  apparently Linda had also entered him in that contest and had warned him that if her won, he would have to do the musical chair thing.  So, he was prepared.  Linda had entered my dad and Dave.  So, this morning, we all met at Cherry Hill.  Linda, her family, and Shelley came.  It turns out that if you wanted to watch the contest, you had to pay for a ticket to get into Cherry Hill.  Those tickets weren't cheap, so we all found an area outside of the gate where we could still see what was going on.
Dad ended up being one of the first people to get out.  They said in the rules before the game started that there is no pushing in this game.  There was a really big younger guy next to my dad and as soon as the music stopped, dad sat down, then the big guy shoved him off the chair and that was it.  The prize that my dad ended up winning was a gift card to some restaurant and 3 free day passes for a family for Cherry Hill.  Dad said that he wouldn't use the passes for Cherry Hill so he gave them to me.  I'm super excited for us to get to go and play at Cherry Hill.  It looks like a lot of fun.  I'm really glad my dad was such a good sport and came and did this contest.  We had a fun morning.

Swimming in The Backyard - June 15, 2011

Kelly, Delia, and Grandpa left this morning.  We had a lot of fun with them.  It is too bad we don't get to see them more often.
We spent a lot of time playing on the tire swing and swimming in the backyard today.  We love our little swimming pools and we love out tire swing.  Erin and Ben came over to swim also.

Alissa did her hair really pretty.  She did it all by herself.  She looks so cute!  Anyway, she came in the kitchen to show me and asked me to take her picture.  As I went to snap the picture, Roger ran over and got in the picture with her.  He was being really funny about it.  After the first two pictures, Alissa started trying to push him out of the shot.  It was funny.  Alissa was laughing so hard as she was trying to get him out of the way.

Camping in The Backyard - June 14, 2011

Grandpa Bone, Aunt Kelly, and cousin Delia came to spend the night.  We don't get to see Kelly and Delia very often, so we were super excited to have them come to stay.  Delia is a little under a year younger than Brinley and they have so much fun together.  They had a lot of fun playing house out in the playhouse in the backyard.
I was so excited to have company over that would sleep out in the backyard with us.  I've been wanting to camp in the backyard, but I'm too afraid to sleep out their by myself with the kids.  roger refuses to sleep outside in the backyard when he has such a comfy bed inside the house to sleep on, plus it's hard for him to sleep at night since he works the graveyard shift.
We had a nice relaxing evening sitting around the campfire and visiting.  We cooked some hot dogs over the fire, then after that we roasted marshmallows and had s'mores.

Kelly brought glow sticks!  It made being in the tent in the dark so much fun!

We had a really fun night.
