Bridal Expo and Tony Grove - September 28, 2013

Grandma Moser came to spend the day.  She needed some help with something in her jeep, so she came to get Roger's help with it and to go out adventuring.  They planned to go to Tony Grove in Logan Canyon.  I didn't get to go with.  their was a wedding expo and South Town Expo Center, so I had to head to Salt Lake to be there and help Linda out.  This was the first thing like this that she had done.  She's hoping that it will really help to kick start her business.
Roger and the kids had a ton of fun at Tony Grove.  It was so pretty.  They took lots of pictures.

I only took a few pictures from the wedding expo.  The booth across from us had some really pretty center pieces and table decorations.  Linda wanted to try and make some of the decorations for her business, so I discreetly took some pictures, so we could remember them.  Unfortunately, I was using the camera on my phone and the pictures didn't turn out very well. Elizabeth's boyfriend, Andrew, came to help us at the expo.  He spent the whole day there with us.  He was extremely helpful.  Linda wasn't expecting him to be there the whole time, but we are so glad that he was.  He worked so hard and really helped to make things go smoothly.

At The Hoe Down - September 21, 2013

We went to our first Hoe Down!  It was a lot of fun.  The directions to get there were really funny.  I can't remember exactly what the directions on the flyer said, but it was something like - Turn left by the big yellow barn, then the Hoe down will be in the big red barn, directly behind the white barn.  I just remember thinking it was really funny.  So, this was basically like a really big potluck dinner with entertainment, then dancing after dinner was over.  They had a lot of talented people to share their talents with us while we ate.  There was singing, dancing, violin and piano solos, and more.  After we ate, everybody cleared out their camping chairs (If you didn't bring a chair, they had bails of hay for everybody to sit on - but most people knew to bring their chairs).  When all the chairs were moved, everybody walked forward to start the hoe down (Music and dancing).  The kids loved it.  I'm not much of a dancer, so I sat on the side and watched.  A few times, people tried to convince Roger and I to join in the dancing, but we didn't do it.  A lot of people were sitting on the side watching.  Anyway... It was a lot of fun and something different.  We have never experienced something like that before.  We will definitely go to next years Hoe Down.  I took a lot more video than I did pictures.  I only had my phone, so the pictures I took didn't turn out very well.

Blustery Day, New Sun Glasses, and Huffaker get together - September 6, 2013

Friday - September 6, 2013

Monday - September 9, 2013
Roger and I went to Logan to run some errands today while the kids were at school.  Both of our sunglasses had broken, so we decided to look at some while we were out and about.  We found some really nice ones at Al's Sporting Goods.  They were last years model, so they had them discounted.  The regular price was around $150.00, but they were on sale for $30.00.
I don't like to spend that much on sunglasses, so, I decided not to get any.  We left the store and Roger was surprised at how his sunglasses made everything look.  He let me try them.  It made everything look so much clearer and the colors looked more vibrant.  I was so jealous and we weren't too far from the store, so I quickly told Roger that I changed my mind and asked him to go back to the store so I could have some too.  He was nice and took me back to get my own pair.  I love my sunglasses!

Roger and Grandma Moser took the kids to a Huffaker get together in Idaho.  Grandma Moser has a new jeep.  It doesn't have enough seats for all of us to fit.  I've been really busy and really liked the thought of having the house to myself for a while to relax.  So, I stayed home.  That way everybody could fit.  I had a nice time relaxing at home, the kids had so much fun playing in the water, and Roger had a lot of fun visiting with his cousins.  The house feels empty and a little creepy with out everybody here, so I was really excited for them to come home.
