Just Another Day in Paradise - March 23, 2007

Friday - March 23rd
We didn't do anything too exciting today.  Just a lot of babysitting, as usual.  The kids love it though.  They have so much fun playing with friends all the time.  I think they would be lost if I quit babysitting and they didn't have a ton of friends over all the time.  We babysat Chloe, Gracie, and Shahaley today.

Playing With Our Friends - March 21, 2007

Wednesday - March 21st
My friend, Lisa Spotten came over.  She lived in the house around the corner from us for about 3 months, while they were house hunting.  She said that she wasn't trying to make friends, since she knew they would be leaving soon.  I ended up talking to her because I thought she was somebody else.  We hit it off right away and realized that we had a lot to talk about.  she is so fun.  I loved having her live so close and it was so nice to have a friend.  Now she lives in Garland.  Not way too far away, but not walking distance anymore.  But she still comes to visit every once in a while.  The kids all had a lot of fun playing with Parker's train set.  I was babysitting today, so there were a lot of kids here.  I was tending Isaac, Aytymn, and Shahaley.  We had a busy fun day.

Just Chillin' - March 20, 2007

Tuesday - March 20th
We're just having a relaxing day.  Aytymn came over to be babysat, so the kids had fun playing with her.  I took a picture of the dogs sleeping on the couch.  It is so cute how they curl up to each other to take a nap.

Easter Bunny Baskets - March 19, 2007

Monday - March 19th
These are the cute Easter baskets I crocheted for the kids.  I took some pictures because I think I might try to sell them.  Not the baskets I made for the kids, but I'll take orders and make some to sell.

I Had a Good Scare Tonight - March 16, 2007

Friday - March 16th
I had a nice relaxing day.  I spent as much time as I could sitting in the sun and reading my Christopher Layton book.  It is so fun reading about my ancestors.
Our phone isn't working and we can't figure out why.  We thought we had it fixed before Roger left to work, but it turns out we didn't.  Roger couldn't get a hold of me on the phone, so he called a neighbor to come over and make sure I was okay.  He was worried because he kept calling and I never answered.  The phone didn't ring here at all.
When the neighbor (Dave Pollock) came to the door, I was really scared.  It was late and I had no idea who would come to the door so late.  I was really scared to answer because I thought it could be someone trying to break in.  It took me a long time to get up the courage to answer the door.  When I finally opened the door, Dave had walked around to the side door to see if he could get in that way to check on me.  So, when I opened the door, and he came around the corner, I jumped really high!  It scared me so bad!  I was shaking really bad for at least 5 minutes after that happened.  I scare easily.  Especially at night.  Dave felt really bad for scaring me.  It was very nice of him to come and check on me though.  I'm glad that roger looks out for me and that he was so concerned when he couldn't get a hold of me.  I love roger.  I feel so safe with him.  He is the best husband ever!

We got Scammed - March 15, 2007

Thursday - March 15th
It turns out that the post office thing was a scam!  I really hope we can get our money back.
After roger left to work, I started rearranging the upstairs and the downstairs living rooms.  It was really hard to move the entertainment center.  I'm so tired from all of the work I did.  But I think the house looks really nice.  tomorrow I will focus on laundry and cleaning our bedrooms.

Happy Birthday Archie! - March 14, 2007

Wednesday - March 14th
Today is Archie's birthday.  We put u a "Happy Birthday" sign, decorated with some balloons, and made cupcakes.  It was fun.  Tonight was the night we celebrated the Relief Society's birthday also.  It was a nice night.  They had a nursery for the kids.  They fed us some really yummy food.  It was a really nice break for me.  Me and 4 other women sang a song together.  We divided it so there were 3 solo parts.  I got to sing the first solo.  It was a lot of fun.  I love to sing!
Roger is going to apply at the post office.  We called a number from the job listings in the newspaper.  They told us that we needed to pay $115.00 and they would send us a study manual.  Then we schedule a time to come and take the test.  They said that they refund your money after you take the test.  So, we paid them.  Linda called tonight and said that she thinks it's a scam.  We will call the post office tomorrow and find out.  I really hope that it is not a scam.  Roger's going to try for a job at the post office because they pay really well.  We want to fix up our house, sell it, and move to St. George.  Linda also told me some really bad news.  Her friend, Rose is dying of cancer.  Rose plans on fighting it as aggressively as they can, but she has a lot going against her and I don't think she'll make it.  The cancer is in stage 4.  It has attacked every organ in her body except one.  I hope that she will be okay.  a lot of people will really miss her when she is gone.  It makes me so sad.

A trip to St. George - March 8-10, 2007

Thursday - March 8th
Linda and I took a trip to St. George.  Roger had to work, so he couldn't make it.  Linda and i are determined to move to St. George as soon as we can.  I just really want to live close to family.
When we got there, we all went over to Shelley's and played on the trampoline.  The kids had so much fun.  They love playing with their cousins.

Friday - March 9th
My Brinley is too cute when she is sleeping.  She is also adorable when she is just waking up.

Saturday - March 10th
Linda brought and prepared a bunch of fun games for us to have our own Olympics.
Linda introduced everything, then I sang the National Anthem.

Loving the Doggies - March 4, 2007

Wednesday - March 4th
We just can't enough of playing with Archie and Mr. P.  We especially love to dress them in their winter clothes.  We are having so much babysitting them.
