Our little Alissa is 7 months old now. She still doesn't like to be on her tummy. She wants to just skip the crawling phase and go straight to walking. She loves it when I hold her hands and help her walk. She moves around a little bit on her back. She'll lift up her bum a little and push herself with her legs. She just absolutely refuses to be on her tummy. I've even tried holding her up in the crawling position and that makes her scream. She is very stubborn about that. I just love my little one so much. Everybody keeps warning me that it is important for her to be on her tummy and learn how to crawl. They say that she won't be able to learn how to walk without learning those crawling skills. So, I plan to keep trying to get her to crawl, but I don't quite understand how crawling will help her to walk. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me how not crawling will make it so she can't walk. Hopefully I can get her crawling, but if not, I really hope they are wrong. Anyway, here are some pictures and a video of my cute little 'lissa.
