Bear River City Pioneer Day Parade and Tremonton City Days - July 23, 2011

Saturday - July 23, 2011
Alissa and Erin did an excellent job marching in the parade.  I love watching them do the color guard stuff.  I wish Brinley would do it also, but she is too scared.  She's funny like that.  I love my cute little kiddos.

We love going to Tremonton City Days.  After the parade, we went home to get some water and anything else we thought we might need, then we headed over to Jeanne Steven's Park for Tremonton City Days.  They have the bounce houses set up for most of the day and the kids can't get enough of playing on them.

These girls were walking around and the kids really wanted to see them.  They were nice and posed for a picture with us.
I had a little money and the kids really wanted to go on a ride.  As we walked over there we ran into Paige and her cousin (I think his name is Gabe).  This is a ride for four people, so they agreed to go on it together.  It was so fun.  I'm glad we ran into them when we did.

We set up the tent and had a camp fire in our backyard.  It was nice to relax and enjoy the fire while we waited for it to get dark enough to do fireworks.  Roger is at work tonight and we don't have any fireworks, so we went to the Beverly's to watch fireworks with them.   Hannah was upset for some reason, so she didn't come out and spend a lot of time with us.  I couldn't tell what was wrong and she didn't really want to talk, so that was a bummer.  We've been having lots of fun with Hannah here.

Marshmallow People - July 22, 2011

Friday - July 22, 2011
We made marshmallow people today.  They turned out super cute.  I can't remember who made what, but we had fun.

Color Guard Day Camp - July 21, 2011

Thursday - July 21, 2011
Today Alissa and Erin went to the Color Guard day camp at the high school.  Alissa and Erin love the color guard.  They can't wait until they are old enough to join.  At the day camp, they learn a routine that they get to do in the Bear River City Pioneer Day Parade.
Parker and Brinley pigged out on marshmallows while we were home waiting for the mini color guard to be done.

At the end of the color guard camp, the parents are invited to come and watch the kids perform their new routine that they will do in the parade.

Lava Hot Springs - July 20, 2011

Wednesday - July 20, 2011
We went swimming at Lava Hot Springs again.  We love that place!  It is too fun, but we only go on family night.  It would be too expensive to go on a regular day.

Hogle Zoo - July 14, 2011

Thursday - July 14, 2011
We went to Hogle Zoo today.  We rarely come to the zoo.  We all enjoyed our time walking around and seeing all the animals and playing on the fun playgrounds.  It was hot, though, and we got tired quickly.  While we were at the zoo, Shelley and I were texting.  It's Hannah's birthday today.  We arranged for Hannah to come and stay with us for a little while.  She just needed to have a break from everybody for a little bit and we don't get to see her very often.  The kids were super excited for Hannah to come and stay.

Drying Off - July 9, 2011

Saturday - July 9, 2011
The kids spent most of the day outside playing in the little swimming pools.  They love to dry off by laying on the sidewalk or driveway.  They love the warmth of the concrete and they feel like it helps them dry off faster.  This is a picture of Alissa, Brinley, and Erin drying off.
