Playing at Lake McDonald - July 3, 2015

Friday - July 3rd
We decided to spend today playing at Lake McDonald.  We got a late start to our day, because we slept in a little, then we had to go to K-mart and pick up some Kayaks that Missy had ordered for her and Mikal.  They couldn't find them anywhere near them in Utah and since they were heading to Montana soon, they decided to order them for pick up there.  The only problem was, the store had told them they'd hold it until they came, then the store changed their mind and insisted they pick up the kayak's sooner.  So, we went and got them and put them in Grandma's garage for Missy and Mikal to get when the visit Grandma.  Roger and Parker posed for a picture with the kayaks, so we could send a message with a picture to Missy and let her know we had her kayaks.
We stopped to get our huckleberry ice cream before we fought the crowds to find a place to sit.  I love huckleberry ice cream!  I look forward to this every year.
The lake was so crowded and it was really hard time find a good spot to sit.  It was rough dragging our cooler through so much forest to get to this spot.  Then, as soon as we got settled, a group of little kids came running over.  They were playing some game were they were on teams and after each other.  They were running around us, yelling and every once in a while getting in arguments with each other.  It was really annoying.  Their parents were no where in sight.  It was really hard to relax and enjoy our time at Lake McDonald.  We were all a little fussy today.  It was kind of rough.  We enjoyed as much of the day as we could.  Our attitudes got better as the crowds died down and when those kids went away.  When we could finally relax and enjoy ourselves.  We didn't get to enjoy the peacefulness for too long, before it was time to go back to Grandma's.

I didn't notice this until later when I was looking at my pictures.  As I was taking pictures of this deer, someone passed by.  I think it looks like he is standing on the deer.
