Playing at the School Playground - March 20, 2008

Thursday - March 20th

We had a lot of fun playing at the school playground today.  I love living close to a playground.  It's nice since we can't afford a lot of outside toys of our own.  Roger took the basketball over with us so we could play a Seven-on-the-Line then he could shoot some hoops on his own.

Alissa loves the "Jimmy song", as she calls it, from Saturday's Warriors.  I took some pictures and a video of her singing along with it.  She is too cute!

 After church, the kids were so excited to be outside and have a chance to run around.  It was hard for me to get them to come inside.

Missy's New House - March 12, 2008

Wednesday - March 12th
It's been a few days since I last posted anything. My niece came to spend the weekend with us. We had a lot of fun. We planned on making a funny video to post, but I just couldn't get the energy.

I just went to the store and bought a lot of craft things. Now I have a lot of activities to do with my children and the children that I babysit. I just thought I would post something before all the kids get here. We will be making lots of crafts for the next few days.
It will be fun, messy, and tiring.

We went to see Missy and Mikal's new house last Thursday.  She asked me to post the pictures that I took.  Unfortunately, I waited to long and somehow I managed to lose a lot of the pictures.  Here are the ones that I didn't lose.  I'm frustrated because I took a lot more and a lot better pictures than these.

Recipe Question

My favorite recipe is:

Cheese Ball

2 (8oz) pkgs Cream Cheese

1 jar Olde English Cheese

1 jar Pimento Cheese

1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 Tbsp Monsodium Glutomate (Accent)

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl; mix well. Refridgerate for one hour. Shape into 1 or 2 balls and roll in chopped nuts to cover. Or place in a serving bowl and serve as a dip.

I love My Children - March 3, 2008

Monday - March 3rd

 We babysat TJ and Hunter today.

I just want to show you all what cute children I have. Whenever I dress Brinley in a skirt she tells me that she is a princess. I also think the face that she makes when she tells me "No" is really cute.

Parker is really funny. He loves to build stuff and he is always telling me and showing me how strong he is. He say's "I strong. Daddy strong. Mommy not strong." I finally convinced him that mommy is strong also.

Alissa got some new skates today. She was so excited. She really wanted me to take a video of her. She is so funny.

Monster Dog - March 2, 2008

Sunday - March 2nd

Alissa and Brinley were playing one of their favorite games, so I took some pictures. The game is called "Monster Dog!" Archie is the monster dog. He follows the kids when ever they start running. So the kids start running and screaming and he chases after them. They play this game a lot.

The kids ate some chocolate right before they started playing, so they all have chocolate on their faces.

  Parker didn't play "monster dog" with Brinley and Alissa this time. Instead, he was in the living room building stuff with stools and chairs.  Parker's favorite was his stool creation.

 When Brinley and Alissa got tired of running, they joined Parker in the living room.  They made a chair sculpture.

I Set Up My Blog - February 27, 2008

Well, I finally set up a blog. Janae has been trying to get me to do this for a while now. I knew that I wanted to start one. I just had to make time to set it up. I definitely won't get it all set up today. This might take awhile for me to get used to this and to learn all that I can do with a blog.

Brinley really wants to play the computer right now, so I am going to take a break from trying to set this up.

We were invited to a birthday party for Aytymn, a girl that we babysit.  Her cousin was also going to be at the party celebrating his birthday.  They always bought their birthday cakes from us.  So, here are the cakes all ready to go.  It was a fun little party.  Aytymn was at our house so often that she felt like a member of our family.

There is so much snow!  It is so fun.  I love it when we get a ton of snow!  That is the best kind of winter.
