Redneck Waterbed - September 25, 2014

Thursday - September 25, 2014
Since we noticed that the weather was going to start cooling down, we thought we better hurry up and do our redneck waterbed before the weather changed.  Thursday was the best day for us to do it.  The only problem with Thursday was that not very many friends could come and play that day.  The kids ended up going a couple doors down and asking our neighbors in #1 to come out and play.  We don't see them very often.  They just don't come out to play a lot, but when they do the kids love it.  They always have so much fun together.  They are going to be moving next week, so that is a bummer, but at least they got to have fun together today.
I love to lay our and relax on the waterbed as it is filling up.  It wasn't quite as enjoyable this time because of the light glaring off of the fence and the side of the house.  That's the reason I couldn't convince Roger to come out and relax on it with us.  Anyway... So, we relaxed on it for a while.  When it was full, we went to invite the neighbors out to play.  Here are the pictures of our fun.

Hanging Out With Our Friends - September 24, 2014

Wednesday - September 24, 2014
Our friends the Croziers came over to play tonight.  We always make No-Bake Cookies when they come.  When we first started making them, Heather would call them poop cookies.  One of the times she was here, we were make ourselves feel better by talking about hoe these are healthy cookies because they have oatmeal in them.  During that conversation we decided to start calling the cookies Chocolate Oatmeal so it sounds a little healthier.  Anyway, so we made chocolate oatmeal.  The kids played in the bubble for a little while.  I didn't take any pictures because I was busy preparing the Chocolate Oatmeal.  When everybody had their treat, we went in the living room and watched 'The Croods".  It was an enjoyable evening.  We like it when the Croziers come to visit us.  Brinley loves to get to keep in touch with and still have a chance to play with her friend Mikenna.  We met Mikenna when she was 2 years old.  Heather had just moved to Tremonton and was looking for a babysitter.  Since I babysat Mikenna, she was at our house a lot and her and Brinley became really good friends.  Here is the one picture that I took of our fun tonight.

Even More Bubble fun - September 22, 2014

Monday - September 22, 2014
Roger's friend, Brian and his daughter, Delany came over for a little bit today.  The fabric on the ceiling of his car was starting to fall off in the back, so we spent a little time trying to decide on the best way to fix it.  I ended up gluing it for him.  I really hope that it stays and doesn't look terrible when it dries.  I keep worrying about that.  I feel like I put a little too much glue on there.  Anyway, after we fixed the fabric in the car, we sat around and visited for a little while.  I put up the bubble for Parker and Delany to play in.  They had a lot of fun.

Bubble fun - September 20, 2014

Saturday - September 20, 2014
Today Roger was supposed to go to Dan's house for a party.  I gummed things up for him though.  I was unsure about when the party was  and I scheduled for him to go with the missionaries to teach our neighbor at 3:00 pm.  It turns out the party was supposed to start at 5:00 pm.  I felt really bad when Roger woke up and explained that to me.  He knew he needed to go to Dan's, because Dan really wanted him to be there.  Dan invited him over a month ago and he kept telling him how important this party was to his wife.  The party was for his son's 2nd birthday.  His wife went all out for this party.  It was a big deal for her.  Roger had also agreed to help the missionaries.  So, he went with the missionaries.  He ended up not getting back until 4:30 pm.  He talked to Dan shortly after that and found out that the party started at 6:00 pm.  Dan really wanted him to come, so Roger hurried and got ready and left.  Parker was happy about that because he had really wanted to go.  He loves going to Dan's house with Roger and he loves playing with Benji.  They ended up having a lot of fun at the party.  They came home with lots of fun party favors.  Parker even had 2 dollar bills.  They had money in the pinata.  Parker enjoyed that a lot.  The girls were a little jealous.  Parker was nice and gave one of his dollars to Brinley.  He is nice to share with her.
Before roger and Parker left, we had Malaiyha and Tonya over here and we all played in the bubble.  We really love playing in our bubble.  It is too much fun!  The kids had a ton of fun playing a game they made up with a ball.

Tiernynn doesn't get to come over and play very often because her and Parker don't get along.  Parker left with Roger to go to a birthday party for Dan's son.  since Parker was going to be gone for the rest of the night, we let Tiernynn come and play.  Brinley and Tiernynn had a dance party in the bubble.  They loved it!

Alissa and Malaiyha had a lot of fun playing Minecraft while Tiernynn and Brinley played in the bubble.
Tiernynn and Brinley eventually tired of their bubble dance party, so they quit and went upstairs to play barbies.  After playing that for a little while, they decided to play dress up.  First they found the hats and scarves, then they found the dresses.

The Bubble is Back! - September 19, 2014

Friday - September 19, 2014
I haven't done anything really fun with the kids in a while because I've been feeling so stressed out.  I felt really bad when I realized that I haven't taken any pictures this month, so I decided to do something fun.  I bought plastic sheeting and duct tape and now we have a bubble to play in.  Brinley's friend, Onnika came home from school with her today and I knew they'd have a ton of fun playing with this.  Parker, Brinley, and Onnika had so much fun goofing off and playing in the bubble.  They pretty much played in it the whole time Onnika was here.

They took one tiny little break from the bubble to play with play dough, but that only lasted for a few minutes.  In no time they were back in the bubble playing.

After Brinley's friend Onnika left, Alissa's friend, Sydney came over to play for a little while.  When Sydney comes she normally stays for a really long time, but today I had all friends go home by 8:00 pm.  I just haven't been feeling well all week.  It is the craziest thing.  It's not like a normal sickness, but I feel achy, with a little headache, and ridiculously tired all the time.  I have been sleeping a lot lately.  I go to bed early, then after I get the kids to school in the morning, I fall back asleep for 2 -3 hours, then after Roger leaves to work (around 5:15 pm) I fall asleep again for another hour or two.  Anyway.... enough about my sickness.  The kids all had fun playing in the bubble today and they were happy that Sydney got to come over and play for a little while also.  They made up a really fun game with a ball.  they all had a ton of fun playing that.

No Pictures - September 16, 2014

Tuesday - September 16, 2014
I just realized that I have not taken any pictures this month.  That's crazy!  Not even one!  That is so unlike me.  I've just been so stressed out since school started.  I really don't like to be stressed.  I have a hard time not feeling stressed when I am homeschooling.  We still haven't found what works the best for us and we still haven't settled into a good routine.  We get stuff accomplished each day, but I'm just not organized well enough.  I have too many ideas and things I'd like to do.  I start making a plan, then other things come to mind and the plan I was working on is thrown out the window because the new plan is better, then that comes to a halt because I have another idea or it doesn't work out as well as I thought or I just get too distracted by all the other things I need to get done.  One of the biggest things adding to my stress was the idea that I had to try an all homemade Christmas this year.  I had a ton of fun ideas and I thought the kids would be surprised by how fun a homemade Christmas could be.  The problem with my idea is that it takes a lot of time to make all the wonderful gifts that I want to make.  I also thought that it might be cheaper to do Christmas this way this year, but I was wrong about that too.  I don't have the time or money to do a homemade Christmas.  Anyway... I've been trying to do everything and it has turned out to be way too much for me to handle!  I got my first gray hair this month!  That's how stressed I have been.  I have one white hair on my eyebrow now.
I'm feeling a little less stressed tonight because I decided not to do the homemade Christmas and Parker's homeschooling went much better today than it has before.  Also, some one in our ward gave us a bunch of corn and I just finished preparing it and freezing it.  That was a lot of work!  That was adding to my stress, but I couldn't pass it up.  That corn taste so yummy!
Another stress I've been having is a neighbor girl that walks home with Brinley and stays at our house for 20 minutes until her sister comes to pick her up.  She is makes things very difficult.  She's not an easy person to deal with.  Parker and her clash big time and that is especially not fun.  It's such a relief when she leaves, but it is hard to get her to go and she is always begging to come back over and play.  I feel bad, but I really can't handle her.  I let her come back and play a few times, but I had to keep sending her home because she was fighting and being rude.  Then I thought maybe it'd be okay if Brinley went outside to play with her, but that was a bad idea too.  She ended up coloring all over on the back patio with crayon, then she picked the neighbor's tomatoes and threw them in our air conditioner.  Tomato splattered everywhere.  It's just too exhausting to have her around.

Alright... enough about how stressed I have been feeling.  Since I last posted, Alissa was able to go back to the craft store and use her gift card.  She took a coupon with her this time and the paints ended up ringing up for less than what they were marked at, so she ended up being able to get more paints this time.  She came back from that shopping trip feeling much happier.
Alissa went with the Young Women to the Ogden Temple open house.  One of the Leaders posted the picture on Facebook, so I copied it and I can at least share one picture with you today.  I don't remember what day this was but it was posted on Facebook on September 2nd.

Let's see.... what else has happened..... We went to Tooele and picked up our Luv Sac from Roger's mom's house.  We have missed having that.  We gave it to her when we moved out of our house since it takes up so much room.  We were planning to get it when we moved in to a house again, but we just couldn't wait.  We have missed having that.  It is so comfy to lay in.  After we picked that up, we went to Roger's brother, Todd's house.  They had invited us over for dinner.  It was kind of out of the blue and random, but we don't see them very often, so we decided to take them up on their offer.  We had a lot of fun hanging out with them.
I like posting pictures, so I'm bummed that I haven't taken any yet.  I need to step up my game and get on it.
