Roger, Cindy, and Joyce split the cost and drove to Ohio to go to Cris' funeral. It was a looooong... drive. On Friday the 16th we all headed to Cindy's house. We all spent the night and Roger, Cindy, and Joyce left first thing in the morning. We stayed to play with Missy and Becca for half the day. We went to see a movie at the dollar theater. We saw the movie 'Brave' and we loved the it! Becca thought it was funny how Alissa and I were getting so worried when things got suspenseful in the movie. I have a hard time handling suspenseful movies. Missy was sitting right next to Parker and she said that he cried during a few parts of the movie. After the movie, Parker told me that he almost cried, but Missy told me that he really did cry.
After the movie we headed to my sister Linda's house to stay while Roger was gone. We had a lot of fun relaxing all weekend. The only pictures I took are right here. Roger had the good camera. I used my phone to take these. The dogs were sitting so nicely next to Parker, so he wanted me to take a picture. He is such a handsome boy. So, here is Parker with Max and Mimi.
Roger had the camera and was able to take lots of pictures. This is their first night. I don't know where this hotel is, but it was somewhere along the way on their super long drive to Ohio.
Roger drove for two days with his sister and mom. They got to Ohio on Sunday night. I was so relieved when they got there and I knew they were safe. The funeral was on Monday. I feel bad that I couldn't be there, but I'm glad that Roger made it.
They left to head home on Tuesday morning. They decided to stop in Navou and at Carthage Jail. They didn't have a lot of time to enjoy it, but they were glad that they made those stops. It made the trip a little more enjoyable.
Roger said the fog was really thick when they were leaving Navou and that made it really scary.
