The kids and I like to watch this show called "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". It is a reality show that follows a redneck family. They are pretty funny! In one of their last episodes, they made up a game. The game goes like this: Whenever somebody farts, they have to hold their hand up to their forehead and yell, "Safety!", before somebody else yells, "Doorknob!" If the farter says "safety" before someone yells "doorknob", then nothing happens. If someone yells "doorknob" before the farter says "safety", then everybody gets to attack the farter until the farter is able to reach a doorknob. Once the doorknob is touched, the farter is safe.
I still haven't watched that episode, but the kids and roger told me all about it. I thought that it sounded like a really funny game to play. So, I know it is embarrassing, but we have been playing that game. It has been soo fun and hilarious! It's my new favorite game right now. It makes boring times way more ecxiting and fun. For example: Roger farted while he was getting out of bed, after taking a nap. I yelled, "doorknob!" and tackled him, trying to keep him from reaching the doorknob. He wasn't expecting it, which made it even funnier. We were laughing so hard by the time he reached the doorknob! Another example:Roger's friend was visiting. We were sitting in the living room just talking. There was a lull in the conversation, then Roger farted. I jumped on him and yelled "doorknob!" The kids heard and quickly came running, to help me keep him from reaching the doorknob. It was so funny! His friend was a little confused by what was happening all of the sudden. we explained the game as soon as Roger reached the doorknob and we all stopped laughing. Good times!
