We had our weekly play date with the Dukes at the splash Pad this week. The kids had a ton of fun. There were some people there that brought some water balloons and gloves. They filled them up with water for the kids to play with. They loved it! We babysit Samantha on Thursdays, so she was here also. She found a friend when we first got there, but she was playing too rough with her. I heard the girl crying to mom about not knowing what to do, because she wanted to play in the water but she was scared of Samantha. I felt bad about having to talk with Samantha about being nicer with her friends. Samantha sat next to Tiffiny and I for most of the time we were there. She kept complaining that the other kids wouldn't play with her. Alissa and Riley came over a few times and invited her to play a game with them, but every time they came over, she'd say, "Okay, but first turn around." Then she'd hold her balloon and give them a creepy look indicating that she was going to throw it at them as soon as they turned around. They'd refuse to turn around. She'd continue to look at them all creepy like and keep telling them to turn around. They'd get annoyed and then walk away and go play the game with out her. It was getting quite annoying. I felt bad for feeling that way. I just was having a hard time dealing with her.
Besides the difficulty of babysitting, we had a lot of fun. shortly before we were all going to head home, we walked over to the sno shack down the street and got some snow cones. They were really yummy and surprisingly filling. We got the small ones and they were a lot to handle. Next time we will get the extra small ones.
