We went to Lava Hot Springs today. We love going swimming there. Missy VanBibber came to stay and play for a while, so she came with us. It was good fun.
Alissa and Parker love going town the twisty slides. Brinley has been too afraid to try them. Today she really wanted to be brave and go down the red one. She bravely announced that she was going to do it. Alissa said that she would go up there with her. I waited at the bottom of the slide so I could take her picture when she went down the slide for the first time. Today was a really nice day to be at the pool. It was not very crowded at all. So, the lines for the slides weren't bad. I was waiting and watching for Brinley to come down, when I heard her crying and noticed that she was walking back to me. She chickened out when it was her turned and headed back down the stairs. She wanted to go so bad and she was so mad at herself for being so scared. 3 times she went up, chickened out, and came back down the stairs crying to me about it.
Brinley didn't give up and she finally did it! She was so happy and she loved it! After going once, it was all she wanted to do. She spend the rest of the time we had there going down the slide.
