Brinley's Haircut and Willard Bay - December 17, 2013

Tuesday - December 17, 2013
Brinster wanted her hair cut.  Her friend got a haircut and Brinley thought it was so cute, so she wanted her hair cut also.  I cut it for her.  I thought it looked really cute, but the next day, I realized that one side was a little longer than the other.  I hoped other people wouldn't notice, since, I wouldn't have a chance to fix it for a few days.  Brinley didn't mind.  She really liked her new hair cut.
I made Grinch Cookies (green chocolate chip cookies).
We went to Willard bay to see the lights and Santa Claus.  We love to go on the sleigh ride and see the lights.  Last year when we went, we got there the same time as a large group of young men and young women.  We ended up waiting in line for an hour before our ride.  We didn't want that to happen again this year, so we hurried to get there before the young men and young women groups.  We were successful!  The line was not long at all.  It was so nice and we had so much fun.  The family sitting near us was funny and they wanted to sing a Christmas carol.  We sang a song and that was fun.  After the sleigh ride, we went and saw Santa.  Then we stood around the fire outside and Roger bought us some deep fried Oreos.  We love deep fried Oreos!  They are so yummy!  While we were standing around the fire a large group of young women came.  Some of them came to stand by the fire while they were waiting to go on the sleigh ride.  One of the girls got too close to the fire and part of her jacket flipped forward into the fire pit.  She had no idea her jacket was in there and nobody else seemed to notice.  I quickly got her attention and helped her get it out before it caught on fire.  It was crazy!  She was totally freaked out and didn't dare come back and stand by the fire after that.
