Nonrepresentational Art - February 2, 2015

Monday - February 2nd
I was sick all last week.  The first of the week, I was weak and tired and had a sore throat, then it turned into a head cold.  It was a yucky week.  We didn't really do anything fun or exciting.
On Sunday, I was feeling better.  Roger's friend, Brian, his daughter, Delaney, and Brian's new girlfriend, Keri came over to watch the super bowl.  It was a lot of fun.  We had lots of yummy things to eat and we had a ton of fun visiting.
Today in Parker's schooling we learned about representational art (made to look like something real), abstract art (represents something real, but looks unreal, like a purple tree or something crazy like that), and nonrepresentational art (a design of shapes, lines, and colors, not made to look like anything specific).  Parker chose to make a nonrepresentational sculpture.

After Parker finished his schooling and the girls came home, their friends came over to play.  Here is Parker playing hockey with his friend Simon.
And Alissa playing Minecraft with her friend, Malaiyah.
