Sunday - June 21st
Yesterday, we spent some time making Father's Day gifts. We tried an idea we saw on Pinterest where they drew a scenery picture on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk, then they laid down and were apart of the picture. Alissa wanted to try that out. The chalk didn't draw very dark, so it didn't work out too well, but it was still fun to try. Brinley drew pictures and just sat next to her art work. Parker didn't want to draw anything, but he posed for a picture.
I went to the store for some candy bars, so we could make a candy bar poster. That was fun. It was really hard to find all the candy bars, so I had to change things up a bit.
It was a good Father's Day. The kids were so excited to give Roger their gifts. It was hard for us to be patient.
