Saturday - February 13th
Roger and I went out on a Date tonight, since Valentine's Day is on Sunday. Alissa's friend Erin came over to play and help Alissa babysit. The kids and I feel more comfortable when they have an extra person here with them while we are gone.
Before we left, Parker pulled out his tent. They had wanted to play with the bubble, but roger thought they shouldn't play with that while we are gone. So, we put the bubble away and set up Parker's tent. Parker slept in his tent tonight.
Roger and I went to the Olive Garden. It was so yummy! We haven't been there for a while. I love that place. After dinner, we were going to go to a movie, but when we did a search to find what theater it was playing at, we realized that it was not playing at any theaters in Logan, so we were out of luck. Instead of going to a movie, we went to the Home Depot to look around and daydream shop. I wanted to find out how much hardwood flooring is and how hard or easy it would be to install and how good do the cheaper easier options look and cost. We had fun wandering around. While we were stopped looking at Ovens and stoves, there was a lady who reminded me of Hyacinth Bucket on 'Keeping Up Appearances'. I love that show! Anyway, the lady was talking very loudly about what she wanted and when the salesman mentioned financing options, she loudly said, "Oh Honey, we don't need financing." Her tone was funny and it was funny that she was speaking so loudly for all to hear.
After that, we went to Sam's Club to do some grocery shopping. While we were there, we decided that we deserve to spend a little of our tax return on something fun, so we headed to Best Buy to get the sound bar we had been day dream shopping for a few weeks ago.
